ECO-CONSCIOUSNESS
Danish LOFT Design only use plantation and replanted wood with certification for place of origin – no rainforest wood is used, only FSC certified wood materials. Our designs allows for no more than 2- 3% waste on wood, as all excess material is either incorporated into the product design or used for other pieces.
All wood materials are treated with pure organic products such as Linseed oil or water based stain from Danish suppliers.

SUSTAINABILITY
From an early stage in product development our engineers and designers review the raw material available before committing to the shapes and sizes which leaves the minimum material waste when put into production – an expensive and time consuming exercise, however a necessary precaution in order to honor our ambition of constantly reducing our environmental impact.
We strive to factory produce a with a close to 0% waste on wood and metal, and even after the finished products leaves the shop, most of the Danish LOFT Design collections, furniture and accessories alike, are close to 99% recyclable.
ZERO WASTE METAL
Danish LOFT Design performs industrial grade metal work at our carefully selected local suppliers. We are proud to do so with a 0% waste on metal as all scrap parts are recycled. All the metal we use for both furniture and accessories are powder coated without the use of harmful solvents.
